Spicy Roasted Broccoli

Want to like broccoli but hate the limp, steamed version of your childhood nightmares? Introducing my broccoli gateway recipe. A bit crispy, a bit spicy, and a lot delicious.

I love these added to a rice bowl with edamame/tofu, grated carrots, avocado, and a yummy miso dressing!

Ingredients

  • Broccoli – 1 medium head or approx 3 cups
  • Sriracha hot sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce – 1 tsp
  • Oil (avocado, grapeseed, olive) – 2 tsp

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F. Prepare baking sheet by lining with parchment paper.
  2. Wash broccoli and cut into bite-sized florets
  3. In a large bowl, mix sriracha, soy sauce, and oil. Toss broccoli in sauce.
  4. Spread evenly on baking sheet in a single layer (not too close as you want them to brown!). Bake at 425 F for 15 min. Flip for even browning and bake for another 15 min.
